My journey began far from weddings—shaped by years of traveling alone since I was twenty, living between New York and Miami, and working alongside international artists across the United States on documentary and social projects. Storytelling has always been my way of understanding the world and continues to guide everything I create.
With a background in Architecture and a Master’s in Visual Storytelling from ICP New York, my eye was trained through structure, light, and human connection. A formative chapter of my path includes an artist residency alongside Magnum photographer Alex Webb — an experience that deeply influenced my approach to color, layering, and emotional depth.
Today, I bring this perspective into weddings. I don’t just photograph how your day looks — I capture how it feels.

My Journey
I fell in love with photography at ten, holding a small camera and capturing friends and family, anxiously waiting for the film to develop. That excitement never faded — it became my life.
I trained in Photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin and earned a Master’s in Visual Storytelling at ICP New York. Since then, I’ve traveled to over 20 countries, capturing stories that are intimate, emotional, and unmistakably alive.
Ten years ago, I founded Ellie Ro Studio to offer a fully curated, bespoke experience. Our team of photographers, content creators, and editors works seamlessly to craft every detail — from pre-wedding sessions to the final gallery — making each image as thoughtful, polished, and personal as the story it tells.
